Bongaree Full Renovation

A Stunning Coastal Transformation

What started as a tired home in Bongaree has now been transformed into a stunning modern coastal residence, completely reimagined from the ground up by Brendan Harvey Builders.

From the very first day on site, this project was always going to be something special. With a full internal renovation, a massive new extension, and a complete exterior refresh, the vision for this home was ambitious and the final result speaks for itself.

Demolition Begins

In October 2025, demolition officially got underway and the transformation began.

Walls came down, the interior was stripped back, and preparations started for what would become a major extension to the existing home. Early design concepts from Anthony Duckworth Designs gave a glimpse into the scale of the renovation and the incredible potential of the property.

Despite stormy weather and shifting timelines, the team pushed forward to keep the project moving.

Building the Extension

Within weeks, foundations were poured, plumbing was installed, and the slab for the new extension was completed.

From there, the project moved quickly.

The extension frame soon went up, dramatically changing the shape and footprint of the home. As the roof structure came together and electrical rough-ins began, the vision for the renovation truly started to take shape.

This stage of the build highlighted the incredible effort from the entire crew and subcontractors involved, including the team at Dazzacrete & Constructions for delivering another high-quality slab pour under challenging weather conditions.

Bringing the Interior to Life

As construction progressed into November, insulation and wall sheeting transformed the once-empty shell into real living spaces.

Every stage brought the home closer to completion:

• New flooring installed throughout
• Carpet and tiling completed
• Fresh finishes throughout the interior
• Front fencing completed
• Exterior upgrades and final detailing underway

By early 2026, the project had evolved into an entirely new home — modern, functional, and beautifully finished.

The Final Result

In March 2026, the Bongaree full renovation was officially handed over to homeowners Brenden & Jen.

The transformation was incredible.

What was once an outdated property had become a stunning family home designed for modern coastal living. From the expansive new extension to the carefully selected finishes throughout, every detail was completed with quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
